The Bodyguard I Hated & Loved

Giselle's mother, chairwoman of a technology company, develops a controlled nuclear fusion process. Several groups want it, and Giselle, a student at South City University, becomes the way to reach her mother. Her mother hires Sean, a mercenary, as Giselle's personal bodyguard. Giselle resists him at first and makes the job difficult on purpose. Then come the attacks on campus, a friend who informs on her, a pressured engagement, and an assassination attempt, and Sean is standing in front of her each time. What he does not say is that he took the work for reasons of his own. Giselle's parentage is the key to a revenge he has been planning against a man who wronged him, which is why he came close to her in the first place. He breaks up the plots against her family, and the poison of a needle used in one of the attacks points to people still moving against them.
