Kill My Hubby?

Seven years ago Harry gave up his place as the son of a business group's chairman to marry Rosie, whose family had lost its money. The two of them had a daughter. Since then Rosie has become the richest woman in the city. Evan, the man she loved before Harry, comes back from abroad with a story that he has a serious heart disease. The story is invented. He wants the marriage broken and Rosie's fortune in his hands. He has a collapse and blames the child for bringing it on. Then he tells Rosie that a transplant is the only thing that will save him, and she comes round to the idea that Harry should be the donor. Rosie puts it to Harry herself, and he despairs. Harry survives the operation, and the heart he now carries came from his brother. He lets it be believed that he died. Some time later he turns up again under another name and begins gathering proof of what Evan did.
