Butcher vs. Cousin: A Meat War

A young man from the countryside and his older cousin run a fresh meat shop together in the city. He does all the heavy work for a full year, the shop clears more than two million in profit, and his cousin hands him eighty thousand of it. The family looks down on him. He leaves and opens a shop of his own, two hundred thousand in debt from the start. He sells fresh meat and deals straight with customers, and word gets round quickly enough that the shop holds. His cousin, meanwhile, takes a large order and fills it with expired and low-grade stock. The order collapses on him, he ends up three million in debt, and his wife leaves and takes their child. The relatives side with the cousin and press the younger man to take on the debt. His parents stand with their son. He then signs a long-term supply contract with a large factory.
