All-Star Dad vs. Secret Son

Nancy and Xavier spent one night together after a Mid-Autumn festival, a mistake involving the wrong room, and she was pregnant. She raised the boy on her own for seven years without telling him. Her son needs regular treatment for asthma, which is expensive, and money is the shape of her life. Xavier is a basketball star. They meet again in a hospital, after the boy has an attack, and a DNA test confirms he is the father. Nancy ends up working at Xavier's basketball club, where a woman named Iris makes a project of harassing her and provokes an attack in the boy that Xavier gets to in time. Iris tampers with test results, plants a false child, and works to keep Nancy and her son out of Xavier's family, since a proven heir costs her everything she has been positioning for. The boy takes to basketball with real seriousness, and a watch left behind by his father becomes part of how the truth gets sorted out. It comes to a head at another Mid-Autumn banquet, where the extent of what Iris has done starts coming into the open in front of the people she was performing for.
