The Girl They Buried

Mark Shaw wants to marry his girlfriend, and his older sister Rose is the obstacle. Rose was a lively child until she was six, when a construction site collapsed and she got Mark out of it. The accident left her with an intellectual disability that never lifted. From then on the parents gave what they had to the healthy son, and Rose was treated as a burden nobody looked at. Mark grew up embarrassed by her and kept his distance. When the marriage comes up, his mother goes along with what he plans without saying anything and his father is too weak to stop it. Mark hides Rose in a disused water jar inside the house.
