My Destined Candle Dragon

Awakening is an organization that wants dragons and the power inside them. There have not been any for a long time, in a world where everyone is assigned a class and lives by whatever they draw. Eric arrived in that world from Blue Star. His first class came out as Barbecue Master, the bottom of the list, and the whole server laughed at him. His second unlocked a hidden class called Dragon Tamer, worth nothing with no dragons left alive to tame, so the laughing started up again. What he ended up with at the low point was a system that bound itself to him and an egg. Out of the egg came a Candle Dragon, small, hot-tempered and pleased with itself, and he called it Candle. At the academy trial the two of them killed an S-rank boss, the eight-headed serpent Yamata no Orochi, which made Eric's name and got him into the top guild. Dungeons followed. One had a black crystal in it that had to be shut down, another was built around an illusion set as a trap, and Awakening kept turning up through all of it, still after Candle. In the SSS-rank dungeon they went through the Dragon Emperor's trial, where Candle took on its Dragon Emperor form and Eric broke past the level he had been stuck under.
