The family he is marrying into believes nothing about him has changed. As far as they can see he is the same man who signs what they put in front of him and pays for whatever they want, and the wedding is the next day. He goes through it while working out how to take everything back. He has been married to her once before. He ran a large group, spent it on her and on her relatives, and once enough of it had crossed over they went after the rest and killed him for it. He opened his eyes again on the day before the wedding. The first thing he does is freeze the card on his account that she has been using. Then he starts keeping a record of what her family spends and where it came from. The things he gave them come back one at a time, in an order slow enough that nobody in the house notices. A woman from a family in the antiques trade works with him, and the two of them press the family through contracts and the courts.
