Synopsis
Xu Wanwan is an orphan, and she is Shen Zhaoan's daughter. Neither of them knows it for eight years. He is a young marshal in Republican China, and he came home from a war he won to find that Xu Nianqing, the woman he loved, was gone. Then he meets Xu Wanwan by chance and works out whose child she is. His family stands in the way. There is a political marriage arranged for him and there are old scores from before the war. He sets out to find the mother and claim the daughter, through conspiracies, fire, and gunfights, and a larger storm is building while he does it.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<
