Synopsis
Zhou Songyan is heir to one of the biggest houses in Beijing, and he spends a training stint at a subsidiary of the family firm as ordinary staff. Li Mai, who is with him then, is told none of it. A misunderstanding breaks them up and he drops out of sight without explaining where he has gone. She has their son on her own, calls him Chengcheng, and the two of them get by on very little over the next five years. Then her work posts her to Beijing. She is at a dinner when Zhou Songyan turns up at the same table, and what he had kept back comes out, the boy along with it.
