Alpha of Aberdeen

Someone Chloe grew up with, a boy she once had a crush on, has come back as a vampire, and he has come for the Aberdeen werewolf pack. Chloe is a college student who keeps to herself. Her best friend Amelia is a werewolf, and Chloe has stayed out of Amelia's world on the understanding that werewolves and humans do not mix. Then Amelia invites her to the Aberdeen ball, the pack's biggest party of the year, and pouts at her until she says yes. Chloe goes so that Amelia will have someone with her. At the ball she meets the pack's Alpha, and she is told that the two of them are fated mates. She wants no part of it. Her childhood sweetheart reappears in her life around this time, already turned, and with the Aberdeen pack as his target.
