Minna's half-sister pushed their father off the roof of a high-rise while Minna stood there watching. The death was recorded as Minna's doing, and the man who made sure the case held together was Ethan, whom she loved. She served three years. What she remembers from the day the sentence came down is Ethan turning to somebody else and saying, "Take good care of her." Lynn's death sits behind all of it.
