Synopsis

The Tanner daughter is the one who found Walter Jaxon and brought him back to her family, and he grew up around her and came to love her. The Jaxons had been wiped out before that, over the fighting art the family kept to itself. Walter's mother told him as she was dying that he was never to use it again, and he did not. Years later the Tanners set up a martial contest to pick a husband for their eldest daughter. An outsider is beating her in it. Walter breaks the jade pendant he wears and his strength comes back.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
