Wear A Hairpin, Bury An Empire

Her family treated her as a curse, and the martial arts school was closed to women, so she dressed as a boy and took her younger brother's place there to keep it running and pay for the medicine. Her father and her brother had both been part of it. When the Tianji Pavilion took her mother's body, she joined the Grand Princess and attacked Blackwater City to get it back, and broke up the ritual they were staging there. The law was changed so women could train, and she opened a school of her own where no woman kneels.
