Synopsis

Isolde's father, a general, goes off to war, and her stepmother Victoria sends word that he has been killed. With that news accepted, Victoria takes over the household and its power, and has Isolde committed to an asylum. Isolde stays there two years, and Victoria has her mistreated the whole time. The general is alive. He comes back from the war, works out what Victoria told everyone and why, and sends soldiers out to locate the asylum and bring his daughter home.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
