Synopsis

Transported into a famine-ravaged frontier as a disgraced county magistrate, a man acquires a system that produces unlimited plain porridge. In a starving land, each bowl wins the loyalty of refugees, laborers, warriors, and strategist Bai Fengshuang, giving him the foundation for an independent realm. He defeats invading tribes and imperial armies on his way to unifying the country, but Bai's sacrifice at Falling Phoenix Slope exacts the price of his imperial road—and a strange reincarnation promises their unfinished bonds will meet again in the modern world.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
