Synopsis

Lin Xiu took a night guard post at Private Museum No. 9 in A City at ten thousand yuan a day. On the first shift he found that the objects held there were not inert, and that some of them carried curses. He repaired a statue of an eight-armed asura that had been broken apart. When the last crack closed, an old power moved out of the statue and into his body. The repair ended a threat rated S class that had been in position to take the city out. Talk of a new guardian started going around the city afterwards.
