I Lost You in Chains

Mark lives in a slum with a stray dog he has taken in and calls Buddy. Buddy picks up a lottery ticket that turns out to be a winner, and the two of them move out of the slum and into a mansion. Sarah arrives in the household and puts an AI collar on Buddy. The collar reports things the dog has not done and gives him a shock for each one. Mark believes the readouts over the animal and does not look at what Buddy tries to show him. Buddy is hit, then put out of the house. An intruder gets into the mansion and means to kill Mark. Buddy comes back to the house while the man is still inside.
