Synopsis

Ember is engaged. The man is rich and she does not intend to marry him. She employs Harvey Bailey on a construction crew, and at Christmas the two of them go and register a marriage, which settles the engagement. Her family meets Harvey and makes remarks about how little he has. His parents answer that by opening up what they had kept from him. The farm they live on holds a store of artifacts, and the holdings behind it run to billions. Harvey is the sole heir to all of it, which until that Christmas he had not been told.
