Synopsis

Daredevil Jax Hale ignores a deadly past and buys a cursed car. He takes girlfriend Tessa, friends Evan and Chloe, and hitchhiker Iris on a mountain trip. They arrive at Lockmere, an abandoned village where nothing is as it seems. Reality bends as they encounter ghostly apparitions and a malevolent force. Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
