Definitely Not The Dragon God

Aris works at the dragon academy as its lowest servant, and everyone there knows why nobody wants him near the stables. There is something in his blood that dragons cannot stand. They shy away from him, and the school treats that as proof he is cursed and worthless. A single drop of that blood falls on a dragon egg out of the old stories and hatches it. The egg had not responded to anyone else. That one moment turns Aris from a servant nobody looked at into something powerful people want to control, and they come for him fast. He is hunted, and he carries a role he never asked for and does not understand. What he does understand is that the answer is in his own blood. Dragons fear it for a reason, and that reason connects to where he came from and who his parents were, questions the academy never bothered to ask about a servant. He needs to find out before his enemies do, because whoever learns the truth first decides what happens to him.
