Reborn Agent: The Emperor's Obsession

The imperial jade seal has gone missing, and an agent is sent back to the dynasty that lost it with orders to bring it home. The seal is in the hands of the emperor, who has decided it is a token of her love for him and will not part with it. She plays along with that in order to get near it. The emperor is a weak man whom his own court works around. His noble consort schemes for the throne and his ministers do as they please, and the agent goes at both with what she knows from her own century, clearing the consort out of the way and forcing changes through the court. The longer she stands beside him, the less he behaves like the coward everyone had him down as, and the more he treats the arrangement between them as the truth. The seal is still what she came for.
