Apocalypse Romance System: Season 2

Oliver Burton wants Emily, the zombie woman he is bound to through a system that turns romantic progress into rewards. She is restrained, fed raw meat to raise her affection level, and still mostly out of his control. The obstacle arrives in the form of Jack and Katie, neighbors who betrayed him in a life he lived before this one. They come asking for food and Oliver refuses, having recognized what they are before they say much of anything. The system tells him that courting Katie as well would unlock rewards, fruit, vegetables, a claim on housing. He starts pulling in supplies from an entire building while gauging how obedient Emily has become. Jack and Katie, denied food, start planning a raid for the middle of the night. Oliver has already worked out what they intend to do before they do it.
