The Gambling Master's Revenge

Leo's family was killed. He was living rough and close to giving up when an old man found him and taught him sleight of hand at cards and dice, the whole trade of cheating and of catching cheats. Leo took it to the underground casinos. He works his way from one back room to the next, reading a table and picking out the marked deck or the shaved die within a hand or two, then turning the same trick back on the man running it. Corrupt players and the muscle behind them lose to him in front of witnesses, and word travels. Every room he clears points to the next one, and the chain leads to the Wright Gang, the organisation that took his family and that owns most of the tables in the city. He goes on playing his way toward them, and the games get larger and the people across the table more willing to settle things away from the felt.
