Sir, Madam has a New Love

Zyan Haggard could take over the Haggard family only by marrying Elisa Montford. Helena Chester was carrying his child at the time. She had made an arrangement with Zyan three years earlier to pay for treatment for her father, who was seriously ill, and she fell in love with him in the course of it. Zyan turned cold toward her so that Elisa would leave her alone. Elisa arranged a kidnapping anyway, and Helena was left with nothing to go back to. Sloan Loney, who headed the richest family in another city, found her and took her in. Three years later Helena returned and appeared at a high-end auction, where she was the one everyone wanted to deal with. Zyan regretted what he had done and tried to get her back, and she kept her distance. Elisa went on working against her. Helena held her position and put together what had actually happened three years earlier.
