The scandals that spread about Sadie White online are planted, by people working out of sight, and what they cost is her name and Jax Stone's along with it. Sadie has taken over her mother's job cleaning the Stone family's house on the beach. Jax Stone, a pop star with an audience worldwide, gets surrounded by fans one afternoon, and Sadie gets him out of it without meaning to be part of anything. After that she is inside his life, with the money and the attention that come with it. What is between them is not supposed to happen, and there is jealousy around it. The sabotage keeps up and so does the fallout. Sadie is working out who she is apart from all of it, and she and Jax have to decide whether to keep going with that much attention on them.
