The Vampire Prince's Bride

Scarlett was an orphan living on the streets when the vampire lord Sean found her. He took her in out of pity, made her his thrall and his lover, and swore a Blood Oath to keep her safe. The arrangement held until Chelsea, a human girl, got Sean's attention and kept it. Sean turned Chelsea into a vampire. He also let Chelsea feed on Scarlett. On the night the Blood Oath had to be renewed, Sean was with Chelsea and did not come, which left Scarlett to die. Scarlett decides to live for herself instead. Breaking the bond between thrall and master means risking her life, and she risks it. While she is between life and death, the vampire prince Alder appears and saves her. She is grateful to him and a little afraid of him, and she does not know what her new prince is doing to her.
