Lily Ingram can see again, and the man she has spent the past six months with turns out to be Oliver Cobb, uncle of the man she is engaged to. Lily was blind. She had promised to marry the nephew out of gratitude to his family, and for those six months it was Oliver who lived with her and looked after her, and she took him for her fiancé the entire time.
