Ages Backward, Loves Forward

Miranda Walters is born in the 1970s and grows younger while everyone around her grows older. People treat her as a freak for it. Her adoptive mother, Diane Walters, is the one person who is warm with her. She and Jeremy Clarke grow up next to each other and fall in love, with their ages running in opposite directions. Chance and bad timing separate them, and then do it again. Miranda goes south to Hong Kong, where she starts at the bottom and works up into business. Jeremy stays in Azureville, and the company he builds there gets large, though he holds to what he wanted at the start. Their lives keep crossing for the next fifty years, through family and through what other people make of the two of them.
