Ryan Stone marries Claire Carter under a contract she signs to save the Carter family business, then strips her of the group's assets, including the rubber plantation, until she has nothing left. A bodyguard named Adrian Voss turns up in her life and stops a kidnapping attempt on her. He helps her take back the plantation and control of Carter's Group, and she divorces Ryan. As they grow closer she finds out that Adrian is the head of an international conglomerate, known as Long Mo. Leads to her missing brother surface at the same time, and she ends with both the company and the relationship.
