Burning Mark of Fate

Five years ago someone tried to kill Marlon Metford. Sunny Walter got him out of it and took a wound to her arm doing it, and the arm never fully recovered. Marlon never learned who she was. They meet again five years later by chance. During an argument the two of them get into, Sunny's arm is hurt again, and Marlon starts to wonder whether she is the person from five years ago. He puts someone on finding out about her. They keep fighting and pulling at each other after that, in a series of scrapes that turn funny and then affectionate, and each of them works out who the other one is.
