Kiss or Kill

Wan Lin wants the man who killed her mother to answer for it. He is Fu Yan's father's world, the underworld empire that runs Mai City, and it is not something a security agency can walk into from the outside. So she goes in as a fiancée. For three years she stays at Fu Yan's side, engaged to the heir of that empire, waiting. On the day of the wedding her own agency moves in to make arrests. Fu Yan tries to get her out during the raid and takes a bullet in the chest from her. When the two meet again they work together instead. Wan Lin comes to see that Fu Yan meant what he said to her, and the two of them break the criminal organization apart from the inside.
