Doormat No More

Synopsis

After retiring, Eric hands over his entire $8,000 monthly pension to cover his son Leo's mortgage, only to be treated like a servant. Humiliated by his daughter-in-law Mary while Leo takes her side, he leaves with the house deed. Ten days later, they beg him to return. From then on, Eric fights back and reclaims his dignity.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
