The Rise of Beekeeper

Synopsis

Ag graduate Sam Stone, cheated by cousin Brian of $4M and his fiancée, leases barren land. Using expertise, he improves soil and nectar. Amid drought, he produces high-Baumé honey sold exclusively. Brian's sugar feeding causes bee deaths. Sam builds largest apiary, helps villagers, proving knowledge's power.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
