Synopsis

Li Yuan, a devoted family man, learns from the female lead, Li Nian, that his wife, Lin Qiaoqiao, is having an affair with her husband, Zhao Qiang. Shocked and enraged at first, he ultimately decides to fight back. The two refrain from alerting their spouses and choose to work together. Through a series of calculated moves and careful planning, they bring the adulterous man to ruin, and he is eventually arrested and sent to prison. Lin Qiaoqiao suffers a mental breakdown. In the end, both of them receive the punishment they deserve.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
