Here's to One Night and a Lifetime

Lin Yuan gets drunk one night and walks into the wrong room. It belongs to Fu Mingxiu, one of the powerful men in Beijing's entertainment circles, and she spends the night with him. The next day she goes to the hospital for a physical and finds him there as well. He passes himself off as a doctor so he can examine her, and while she is sitting in front of him he arranges to see her again. Lin Yuan assumes that squares things between them and that she is done with him. Fu Mingxiu keeps coming back. Her problems get handled before she has to deal with them, and when people bully her he settles it on her behalf. She has been telling him all along that she has a boyfriend. Once he works out there is no boyfriend, he stops holding back and goes after her openly.
