The War for a Stolen Tradition

The witch tribe keeps the Nuo opera as its inheritance, and its founding ancestor sleeps rather than dies. Lily is woken after a thousand years by Henry. She finds the Nuo opera no longer passed down, and the Land of Flowers has filed to have it registered as its own cultural heritage. Zeno, one of the twelve deacons, has taken a large part of the tribe over to the Land of Flowers. Lily takes back Zeno's deacon mark. Henry follows her instruction and organises the tribe to resist, and the Land of Flowers plot is broken up. Behind it is Gabriel, who has been driving a ghost plague to wipe the witch tribe out. Lily waits until the Land of Flowers registration goes through, then moves against Gabriel. Saving the people costs her the last of her divine power and she disappears from the world. Three years later she appears again at a blessing ceremony, and Henry, now tribe leader, carries the divine mark.
