Demon King and his Innocent Bride

Damien Darkfield comes down from the Demonworld to hunt demons and finds Evelyn Sutherland maddened by a blood curse her sister Sylvia put on her. They marry and he draws the evil spirit out of her body. Then the throne of the Demonworld falls to him and he has to go back for the coronation. A day there is a year among the living, so he is gone ten years. In that time Evelyn gives birth to their daughter Mia, and Sylvia locks her up and draws her blood. Damien returns with the powers of his position and traces the plague in the city to the blood-drinking sickness of the governor's son, then deals with the people responsible.
