Shane Hart took the woman who got into his car on a wet night for someone who had staged it to get close to him, and made her get out. She was Faye Locke, she had her daughter in her arms in the middle of an asthma attack, and she was the person who had given him a kidney five years earlier. Faye had come out of a well known university and given up her career to keep house and look after her husband. He was unfaithful to her. The night of the rain she was trying to get the child to a hospital and got into the wrong car. It took several more misunderstandings before Shane found out who she was. He began turning up to help her after that, and the two of them got to know each other.
