Mom's Comeback, Son's Tears

Janet Hayes founded the Hayes Group and built it from nothing. She was married to Casey Hill and had two children with him, Cody and Julie. On the day the company listed on Nasdaq, Janet was hit by a car while pulling a homeless child out of the street, and she lost her memory. When she woke she took the child in as her foster son, named him Colin Holt, and gave herself the name Mabel Holt. She lived that way for twenty years. Casey Hill kept looking for her through those twenty years, with the children. Twenty years on, Julie Hill and Colin Holt began a relationship. Colin knew his position did not match the Hill family's and watched for openings. He learned that Julie had had an eye condition since childhood and needed a corneal transplant, and he arranged to use his foster mother for it. Mabel agreed on the condition that the donation happen after the wedding, because she wanted to see him married first. Colin accepted the condition. At the wedding he was ashamed of the work his mother did.
