Chasing My Unwanted Mate

Wolves in this world are born into ranks, Alpha down to Omega, and each one has a single fated Mate they recognize on sight. Avery is an Omega who grew up by herself in the forest, wanting to find her Mate and live quietly. A Rogue wolf captures her. Xavier, the Alpha of the mountain pack, gets there in time and pulls her out of it, and in that moment the Mate bond forms between them. Avery is happy about it. Xavier rejects her in front of the pack and says plainly that he does not want her as his mate. Isabel, who is next in line to lead the Razorclaw pack, then tells Avery that she is Xavier's mate.
