Synopsis

Tang Qizi, the daughter of a family of traditional Chinese medicine doctor, accidentally rescued the fairy doctor of the Tang Dynasty who was trapped in the painting. Because the ancestral bracelet she wore since childhood was connected to his jade pendant, they were trapped together within ten feet and they began an intimate life by staying together. While trying to adapt to the modern life, the fairy doctor, Tang Qinjian, taught Tang Qizi about how to become an excellent doctor.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
