Kang Kyungjin is the daughter of the man who founded Geumyangjeong. On a trip to Thailand her husband, Jo Sungcheol, arranges to have her killed, and she survives it, though everyone including him believes she did not. Her assistant Pablo gets her out of the country and back into Korea under a new identity: a young male chef named Kenny Ahn. As Kenny, she is hired into Jo Sungcheol's own household kitchen. Her husband eats what she cooks every day and does not know her. She builds his trust with the food, uses the access it gives her to move through the house, and looks for the footage of her own attempted murder that is stored on a tablet somewhere inside it, because without that recording there is no case. The staff, the relatives, and the people who benefited from her disappearance all move around her while she works, and every day she spends in that kitchen is another day someone could look at Kenny Ahn's face long enough to see who is behind it.
