The Daughter He Forgot to Love

Mia Terra is seriously ill and has been told she does not have long. She wants to spend what is left of it with her father, Colonel Finn Terra, who has been her hero all her life. Finn is spending that time with Julia Holt, the woman he was in love with before, and with Julia's daughter Gwen. Mia's mother, Liana Rowe, goes to Finn to explain how bad it has become. Gwen gets in the way, and does it again the next time, so the explanation never reaches him. When Finn is eventually told how far the illness has gone he does not believe it. Julia keeps working on him until he is sure Liana is the one who let it happen.
