Face Me, Face My Strike!

Tavish Clancy wants to marry Iona Joplin, the daughter of the family that runs Joplin Martial, and he has no money, no house and no standing in Sharlow. He was born able to knock down an ox with one punch, and it has not kept him off the street. The two of them are on the same bus when Riverfang stops it. Riverfang is the largest gang in the city, and its men are there for the money and for Iona. Tavish takes them on, some of it fighting and some of it working out what they will fall for, and they leave without her. After that the gang comes out in numbers and goes to Joplin Martial. He gets the school out of that as well, and then the old man who founded Riverfang comes out for him.
