Synopsis
The Cobb family turns Lila out when she is eight months pregnant. She had saved Alexander Vaughn, a hockey player, some time before that, and one night between them left her pregnant when neither of them had planned on it. The baby comes early, a boy, and there are hospital bills for him that Lila has no way to cover. She works herself into the ground trying to pay them, on her own and with nothing behind her. Alexander has been looking for her this whole time. He wants to give her and the child everything he has, and he does not know yet where they are.
