The Ultimate Fight for Love

Harper's parents die under circumstances no one explains to her, and the debts they leave behind land on her. The money is owed to Travis Noble, a businessman with a reputation for getting what he wants through people who owe him. He tells Harper the debt can be worked off if she gets close to Andrew Barrett, a billionaire Travis wants information on, and reports back what she learns. Harper takes the job because she has no other way to pay. She gets close to Andrew under false pretenses, spending time at his house and around his business, feeding small details back to Travis. In the process she learns something Andrew has kept hidden from almost everyone: at night, away from the company and the public image, he fights in underground matches. Andrew finds out Harper has been reporting on him. Instead of cutting her off, he lays out what he knows about Travis, the kind of leverage Travis holds over other people besides her, and asks her to work with him rather than against him. He wants Travis brought down and thinks Harper, with access Travis trusts, can help him do it from the inside. Harper agrees, and the two start working together, trading what each of them knows about Travis's operation while keeping up the appearance that nothing has changed. Spending that much time together, in his house and in the gyms where he trains and fights, they start reacting to each other in ways neither one planned for. Both of them are carrying things from before this started, debts, matches, deaths that were never explained, and none of that goes away just because they've started to want the same thing. What they do about it, and about Travis, plays out from there.
