Break His Word? Lose Your World!

Joel Reed holds the West family in check from his wheelchair. When the father and son tear up their contract with him, the penalty falls at once and the West household collapses. The Harrison family kneels and asks him to break what is on them, to save the grandmother's life. He produces a Buddha's hand citron, and the five great families go wild scrambling for it. Reed walks away on golden lotuses. He leaves a warning behind him. The earth's veins are shifting again, and an international consortium has begun moving in the dark. The next calamity puts the fortune of the whole city on the table.
