Princess Luna's Return: Challenging the Betrayal

In her first life Princess Luna Ashford put her whole trust in her prince consort. He was working with a foreign empire against Easthaven, the empire fell, and she died at her husband's hand. A general stayed beside her to the end. She is then given the chance to live it over. Back at the beginning, Easthaven is again sliding into chaos. Luna now sees the weakness in her consort and turns to the general who once died beside her. She sets out to learn who at court is spying for the foreign empire. She uncovers the betrayal by her consort and the woman working with him, and she and the general put together the defense against the invasion from that same empire. At a banquet in the palace pavilion the truth about the plot is laid out in front of the court, and Luna chooses the general there as her consort.
