Mafia Son: Unbroken By Betrayal

Sebastian Vale was born to Carmine Rossi, a mafia boss. Twenty five years ago he cut ties with his father and changed his name. He built Vale Tech from nothing into a world leading technology company and developed an AI system inside it. With the company close to a major breakthrough, Sebastian walked in on his wife and co-founder Claire with Marco, his close friend and the company's COO. The marriage ended. In the same period the AI system stopped responding to control. Power grids went down, then hospitals, then transport and aviation, in one country after another. The blame went to Sebastian. The board began preparing to remove him from the company he founded, and public opinion had already settled on him as the man responsible. It was at that point that his father, the mafia boss he had walked away from, came back into it.
