Phoebe put together an overseas trip for the whole group, got a virus onto Aurora's phone during it, and cleared out her bank accounts through it. That was where the first life ended. She wakes up again on her first day of college with all of it still in her head. Phoebe is already arranging the trip and inviting the same people. Aurora accepts and goes out for an old button phone, an early model with nothing on it for the virus to get into.
